The Springfield Food Pantry is open every 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at 9am to any individuals who come to our church. No information regarding household income, employment status, or immigration status is required of individuals who come to the pantry.
In essence, no questions are asked, and no documentation is needed to obtain food from the pantry.
In an effort to meet the needs of many who face hunger or who are in need of food assistance, one bag of grocery is provided for each family.
If the pantry is closed, and individuals are in need of food, feel free to contact the church at 703-451-4011; arrangements will be made to provide food.
Our church food pantry encourages and welcomes food donations.
If anyone wishes to donate items to the pantry, review the list of pantry food items, and bring them to the church. Please remember to check the expiration dates of all food items before they are donated to the pantry. Our church will also accept monetary donations; please make checks payable to Springfield Church of Christ, and in the memo section of the check, list food pantry. If you have any questions regarding the pantry, or if you would like to volunteer in the pantry, please contact Angie or call 571-330-7390. Remember, if you give to others, you will be given a full amount in return. It will be packed down, shaken together, and spilling over into your lap. Luke 6:38
